We’re off to Portland for a week! Just the little one and I, visiting a good friend who I haven’t seen since my baby shower. We’re so excited to be spending this week with her and her family and to be exploring the most bike-friendly city in the US! And yes, we’ll be biking!

While I won’t be blogging about our trip this week, I have a travel related posts scheduled and a report from our first ever Kidical Mass ride this past weekend! (Spoiler: it was awesome and I can’t wait to tell you more about it!)

Wishing you a great week! Any tips on what I should do or see in Portland? Leave me a comment below! Although I’m going to be in good hands between my friend, Dave & Trina, and Patrick and his family all giving me the insider tour of PDX. Oregon, here we come!

  1. Have fun in Portland! I’ve never been there, but my twin lives in Eugene so I’ve heard quite a bit… You should try out voodoo donuts!!! Have a great time!

I’m a Portlander who reads your blog and Dave’s. I’m sure you’ll be in good hands with
Dave and Trina. Definitely try VooDoo Donuts. Also, Powell’s City of Books (I’m sure it’s already on the list :) Otherwise, hopefully the weather will be nice and you’ll get to enjoy riding along the river.

I live in Portland and read your blog. If you’re in SE Portland, there’s a great kid-friendly cafe on Division called Cafe au Play. Great neighborhood, great coffee, snacks, and stuff for the wee ones to do! I have an 8 month-old and take her there to watch the bigger kids crawl/toddle around. (cafeauplay.org)

  4. Thanks.so much for your valuable tips.
