… and the food she eats

This past month, we’ve been working on introducing foods into C.’s diet. So far she’s tasted avocado (her first food), bananas, carrots, yams, peas, and apples. And she’s used the odd celery stick as a teether. Unfortunately, at this point (7 months old), more food ends up on her clothes and highchair than actually in her mouth. But she does look super cute while making a big ol’ mess for mama and papa.

Hope you’re all having a good weekend!

Oh my goodness, this is the cutest :). Especially when she’s eating the green stuff (I’m assuming that’s avocado?). You just made my day!

We are at about the same point with the foods. Our little one loves being in the high chair and holding the spoon, but the jury is still out on the actual food. It’s hilarious the face she makes after that first bite! And I have the Baby Bullet too. I love all the little containers.

Yay for the baby bullet! It’s so easy to make baby food with it (although I suppose any blender would do the same job) and it comes with such happy little containers that it makes using it too much fun. I need to branch out and get more creative with the fruits and veggies we mix. So far I think that apple/pear has been her favorite combo.

How cute!! I know this might sound obvious but you can always tell when a baby is really a happy baby :)

  4. What a cutie! We’re just offering finger foods at this point. Whenever we offer him something on a spoon or fork, he just wants to chew the utensil, so it’s easier to leave those out of the picture.
