This week was still cold and snowy, but I did get to ride my bike to the library to pick up some books. I also joined Instagram and developed somewhat of an addiction, and, of course, have continued to toil away at my dissertation. C. has learned to roll over (and then roll over again, and again) and T. has been equally devoted to making progress on his writing to meet his defense deadline. A busy week for all. :)
Did you ride your bike this week? Whereever this finds you, hope your week has been a good one too!

love love love the knee pads! May I ask where you found them?
And way to be hardcore and ride in the snow. :)
I miss my bike every day! I am going to the bike shop for the first sale of the season.
@Anna – thanks! I thrifted the brown cords and they had a hole in one knee, so I covered it up by adding the knee pads :) I found the knee pads at JoAnn’s fabric and I just sewed them on myself.

My poor bike has been neglected since the tyres both got flat some months ago. Now there’s too much snow and I’m too chicken to ride on it!! Come Spring I’m thinking of trading in my 30 year old Peugeot for something new. Any ideas?? xx
Ps What brand helmet do you have there??
Bianca, seeing as how all of my bikes are old (an old Peugeot, 2 old Raleighs), I don’t know what to recommend in the newer bike department. I’m kinda a sucker for a cute old bike. But I can tell you that my helmet is a Giro and I love it. It’s this one in matte black:

Looking forward to seeing what you get and some fun cycling posts from Munich! xo
