bike date route tips for oregon’s wine country

This week on Bike Date Thursday, we have a little something different. Not a bike date per se, but routes and suggestions for three different bike date possibilities through the beautiful wine region in Oregon.

These bike date suggestions come from Olivia of Portland. Olivia is the writer behind the Portland travel guide, WhyGo Portland and when she’s not writing about her favorite places to eat or where to stay in Portland that offer free bikes, she can be found riding her orange mixte around the city.

Thanks, Olivia, for the maps and route tips! If you’re in the Oregon area and give them a try, let us know! I’m bookmarking these route ideas for my next trip out there for sure :)

Yay! Let me know if you try any of the routes. :)

Well retirement can get a little boring at 40, so I have decided to do an adventure. I am planning to ride my bike (carbon 10-speed) from Canada to Mexico. I have picked out the route; The Bike Centennial Route – predominantly a coastal route, which actually takes me right by my own home. I am shooting for early Spring when it gets a little warmer and before summer traffic gets too crazy.
